I spent some time looking through a pretty cookbook with The Toddler last night. Afterward, I started my grocery list and the first thing I wrote? BRUSSEL SPROUTS!

My mother always cooked them in a pot of water on the stove, and though I thought they were alright that way (even without cheese), I am excited to try them roasted and salty.

I agree, brussels sprouts are fantastic roasted. I never much liked them any other way.
